As a 'home-grown' Credit Union with local management and members, we truly do appreciate the importance of community. We feel that it's our responsibility to give back, not only to our members, but to all of our surroundings. These values are part of what makes us a Credit Union. Credit Unions across the country play a major role in Community Economic Development, something we're proud of and something that separates us from the rest!

Over the last few years, we have provided considerable donations to the Students' Association at Mount Royal College, the SAIT Students' Association and to the Students' Union at the University of Calgary. We've given everything from $5000 to providing recycling/garbage bins at the University.

But we don't stop there! We also attend school tradeshows, campus events and support local specialties (like enjoying lunch at the Gateway). Specifically at the University, we've provided a speaker for a Financial Session at UofC 101, so we can give frosh students some tips and tricks for better banking (i.e. how to choose, use and lose your credit card/credit bureau).

We've also provided free advertising for all three campus athletic and student governments! We've created a Campus Events and a Campus Athletics page to inform more students about the opportunities they have in their campus communities, as well as information regarding the other campuses.
