IT PAYS TO BE A STUDENT WITH APEX!
Robert Haines (1915-2004)
Bob joined Apex Credit Union in 1957 (at that time we were called Calgary Provincial Civil Service Saving & Credit Union Ltd.) with his first transaction being a loan he and his wife Alice took out for a piano! It didn't take Bob long to see the potential our credit union had, so he took a seat on our board, where he contributed for many years and never missed a meeting. He was even on the first Apex Credit Union board, in 1970! Throughout the years, Bob donated his time and skills to our credit union, hand crafting the teller stations and desks in our previous branch as well as the solid oak oval board table. He worked in the Automotive department at SAIT for over 27 years, and is survived by his wife, 3 children, and 3 grandchildren.

| Apex Credit Union Scholarships | Apex Credit Union realizes the vital role scholarships play in the world of education. We also realize that many students have hidden skills and activities that they are involved in during school which dramatically shape their growth as a person. That's why we're helping support our student members by rewarding their abilities. We are trying to help alleviate some of the costs involved in education which in turn helps provide the knowledge for a sustainable, healthy community. |
